Last week i was offered my first photo gig. Personally, it went quite well and everyone was having fun. But a lot happened before, during and after the gig it self.

Before the gig:
- in my mailbox I received a invitation to join fineartamerica.com, which I recommend you pay a visit.

During the gig:
- other than the gig offered by my friend, the owner of the place also made me an offer for his photos that I took during the party. So I got two jobs in one day.

After the gig:
- the owner had made me yet another offer. He wanted me to be the photographer for various events at his place. We have agreed on the payment for my service at 500 baht an hour (around US$14.50). As I am completely clueless, I want to know is that a lot for a beginner photographer?

-My next gig would be a wedding photo for friend of his in a few weeks.

So far things seem to be going really well for me, photography-wise. Who would imagine going to a birthday party would turn into a business opportunity.

Finally, as my photography teacher, and a few members here, told me...I am now a professional photographer.
